The team welcomes three new interns. Avril de Goër de Herve is a graduate student at École Normale Supérieur de Lyon in France, and she currently investigates how passes impact each others in the LLVM compiler. Olivier Levasseur just finished is Bachelor of computer Science at UQAM, and obtained funding from the NSERC to spent 16 weeks in the team to work on source code merging data structures. Alison Lecuyer studies computer science at IUT Nice Côte d’Azur, and she is working on the design of a website to support the FRQNT/MAE project between UQAM and Université Côte d’Azur about software engineering to support ageing populations.

On January 23th, S. Mosser gave an invited talk during the 2nd
Winter Modelling Meeting, entitled
“How can models help data scientists? Report fron an undercover agent”. the goal of this presentation was to mock the clichés classically associated to Model-driven Engineering and see how can we as a community can improve our relationships with our friendly neighbors such as data scientists.

The group welcomes five (!) new members! Maxime does his research project on source code merging, Lou-Théo works on a domain-specific language to help the deployment of large-scale experiments on clusters (collaboration with A. Charpentier from the Maths department) and Pierre works on agile data visualization (collaboration with J. Privat). Last but not least, Corinne and Rayan will collaborate to the RELAI project (led by M.-J. Meurs) to define customisable data collectors.
